Excellent original soundtrack score for one of the best classic science fiction B-movies of the 1950s. The score features an electrifying main title theme, and incredible cue music to accompany the visuals onscreen. One of Paul Sawtell & Bert Shefter's greatest works. This same score was recycled in lesser sci-fi and horror B-pictures afterward, but this is the movie the music was written for. This soundtrack LP album is a must for every serious collector of 1950s science fiction classics. I highly recommend it. The album is a fine collector's item for the movie, released in July 1957 by 20th Century Fox as a Regalscope Picture in wide-screen CinemaScope (advertised as Regalscope).
