Notes
[From the rear sleeve:]The Westminster Festival of Music founded by Clive Biggs is rendered biennally in the Great Hall of the Central Hall, Westminster, London. In this building met the General Assembly of the United Nations in 1946.
The Festival provides a new concept in music created by a large military band with seven choirs each outstanding in their own sphere of music bonded together by Dr. Lloyd Webber at the great organ.
The Westminster Festival of Music is arranged as a charity event in aid of the Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen's Families Association and other charities.
[From:] Navy News, September 1977:
The Westminster Festival of Music. which takes place every other year in London. has a large military band and seven choirs and is bonded together by the organ. Now a record of Jubilee music has been made and the proceeds are to go to SSAFA. The record costs £2.50 and is available from the Festival Office.
